BENEFITS OF TALLOW
It's Not Just A Trend
Beef tallow isn’t a trend, it’s what skin has always responded to best. Structurally similar to human sebum, it works with your biology rather than around it. Before synthetic moisturizers existed, tallow was what people used. And for good reason: it’s loaded with the exact fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins your skin actually recognizes.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Not All Tallow Is Created Equal
Most brands render their tallow from trim fat. We use 100% grass-fed, grass-finished suet tallow.
Suet is the dense, nutrient-rich fat that surrounds the kidneys and vital organs. It exists for one reason in nature: to protect. And that protective quality carries directly into what it does for your skin.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Why We Don’t Cut Corners
Compared to trim fat, suet has a higher concentration of vitamins A, D, E, and K, a richer fatty acid profile, and a closer match to the lipids your skin is already made of.
That last part is what matters most, because when a tallow mirrors your skin's own biology, it doesn't just sit on top, it absorbs.
So why don't more brands use suet?
Because trim fat is easier to source, cheaper to buy, and available in larger quantities. Suet takes more intention.
We think your skin is worth the extra effort.

FAQs
SHOULD I USE WHIPPED OR BALM?
SHOULD I USE WHIPPED OR BALM?
They use the same ingredients — the difference is texture and how your skin wears them. The whipped is light and fluffy, absorbs quickly, and works well for everyday use, under makeup, or if you have oilier skin. The balm is smoother and more concentrated. It's deeply protective and ideal for very dry areas, nighttime use, or body application. A lot of our customers use the whipped in the morning and the balm at night to get the best of both.
WHY DO YOU USE SUET FAT?
WHY DO YOU USE SUET FAT?
Not all tallow is the same. Suet is the fat that surrounds the kidneys and organs, and it has a higher concentration of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K and a richer nutrient profile than fat rendered from other parts of the animal. It's also the closest match to the lipids in human skin, which is why it absorbs so well and supports your skin's natural barrier.
WHAT DOES REVIVAL SMELL LIKE?
WHAT DOES REVIVAL SMELL LIKE?
Warm and grounding. The frankincense and myrrh give it a subtle resinous depth, and the lavender softens it.
WHERE DOES REVIVAL FIT INTO MY SKINCARE ROUTINE?
WHERE DOES REVIVAL FIT INTO MY SKINCARE ROUTINE?
Revival is the final step in your routine (after your cleanser, mist, serum, or other products). It creates a natural barrier that locks everything in and keeps moisture from escaping.
- In the morning: Cleanse, apply your toners and serums, then press a small amount of Revival into damp skin. It absorbs quickly and layers well under makeup.
- At night: Follow your full routine and finish with Revival to seal it all in while your skin repairs overnight.
IS REVIVALPREGNANCY SAFE?
IS REVIVALPREGNANCY SAFE?
We always recommend consulting your doctor before adding any new skincare product during pregnancy. Revival contains rosemary and myrrh essential oils, which some practitioners advise avoiding during pregnancy. If you're pregnant or nursing and want the benefits of tallow, our Pure blendis made with just two ingredients, and is 100% safe for you and baby!
IS REVIVAL SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
IS REVIVAL SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
Yes. Revival has only six ingredients, all organic or naturally derived, with no synthetic fragrances, preservatives, or fillers. Tallow is one of the most biocompatible fats you can put on your skin because its fatty acid structure is so similar to your own. That said, we always recommend a small patch test if you have reactive skin — apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours.
